The Yes had a song: On the Wings of Freedom
On the silent wings of freedom Where I ofer myself midst the balancing of the sun On the winds of celestial seasons That would carry me on, midst the balance of being one On the dream of our love eternal That will eventually bring our living once more with you
Where we are coming from Or where we go We only know e come with sound
Where we are coming from Or where we go We only know we go around and around
On the back of your forty-second screamdown Do you choose to be lost midst the challenge of being one On the flight of regardless feelings As you hurtle to fear midst the challenge of everyone
On the darkest night so painful Do you hunger for love midst the torture of being one On the passing light of easing Have you seen you inside midst the being of everyone To the common goal of freedom Where we offer ourselves midst the balancing of the sun
Where we are coming froom Or where we go We only know we come with sound
Where we are coming from Or where we go We only know we go around and around

Fields of Gold ......Eva Cassidy

You'll remember me when the west wind moves Among the fields of barley You can tell the sun in his jealous sky When we walked in fields of gold
So she took her love for to gaze awhile Among the fields of barley In his arms she fell as her hair came down Among the fields of gold
Will you stay with me will you be my love Among the fields of barley And you can tell the sun in his jealous sky When we walked in fields of gold
I never made promises lightly And there have been some that I've broken But I swear in the days still left We will walk in fields of gold We'll walk in fields of gold
Many years have passed since those summer days Among the fields of barley See the children run as the sun goes down As you lie in fields of gold
You'll remember me when the west wind moves Among the fields of barley You can tell the sun in his jealous sky When we walked in fields of gold

Danny Kaye song: "The ugly duckling"

There once was an ugly duckling With feathers all stubby and brown And the other birds said in so many words Get out of town Get out, get out, get out of town And he went with a quack and a waddle and a quack In a flurry of eiderdown That poor little ugly duckling Went wandering far and near But at every place they said to his face Now get out, get out, get out of here And he went with a quack and a waddle and a quack And a very unhappy tear All through the wintertime he hid himself away Ashamed to show his face, afraid of what others might say All through the winter in his lonely clump of wheat Till a flock of swans spied him there and very soon agreed You’re a very fine swan indeed! A swan? Me a swan? Ah, go on! And he said yes, you’re a swan Take a look at yourself in the lake and you’ll see And he looked, and he saw, and he said I am a swan! Wheeeeeeee! I’m not such an ugly duckling No feathers all stubby and brown For in fact these birds in so many words said The best in town, the best, the best The best in town Not a quack, not a quack, not a waddle or a quack But a glide and a whistle and a snowy white back And a head so noble and high Say who’s an ugly duckling? Not I! Not I!

HOW SAD VENISE CAN BE (Charles Aznavour)

How sad Venise can be When you return alone A fond memory In every paving stone
I walk among the birds That fill San Marco's Square With echoes of her words Around me in the air
How sad Venise can be When mandolins play A song she sung for me One unforgotten day
Like images of sleep The gondoliers go by But when I try to weep I find my tears are dry
How sad Venise can be When mist is in your eyes And you can hardly see As pigeons fill the skies
I find the little street And then the old cafe Where we would always meet To dream away the day
How sad Venise can be Beneath the silent moon That rises from the sea And silvers the lagoon
I hear the vespers chime And cross the Bridge of Sighs I know that it is time To bid my last goodbye
There's nothing more to say I pass beneath the light And then I turn away From Venise in the night
How sad Venise can be It's too lonely to bear When you have lost the love That you discovered there

La cucaracha, la cucaracha Ya no puede caminar Porque no tiene, porque le falta Un cigarro que fumar.
I was told by a Mexican lady the guerilla's used this song as a warning if there were soldiers seen. On wikipedia I read that it is a far more old song , but my boys are dancing on this music.

Chris Rea Gone Fishing lyrics
I'm gone fishing I got me a line Nothing I do is gonna make the difference So I'm taking the time
And you ain't never gonna be happy Anyhow, anyway So I'm gone fishing And I'm going today
I'm gone fishing Sounds crazy I know I know nothing about fishing But just watch me go
And when my time has come I will look back and see Peace on the shoreline That could have been me
You can waste a whole lifetime Trying to be What you think is expected of you But you'll never be free
May as well go fishing

WISH I COULD FLY Roxette
Halfway through the night, I wake up in a dream Echoes in my head, Make every whisper turn into a scream
I dreamed I could fly, out in the blue Over this town, following you Over the trees, subways and cars Id try to find out who you really are
In the middle of the night, Cool sweating in my bed Got the windows open wide, Thinking about all the things you said
I wish I could fly, out in the blue Over this town, following you Id fly over rooftops, the great boulevards To try to find out who you really are Who you really are Who you really are
I wish I could fly now I wish I could fly now
I wish I could fly, around and around Over this town, the dirt on the ground Id follow your course of doors left ajar To try to find out who you really are To try to find out who you really are
I wish I could fly
