Last year I made a photo of an animal I didn't know, someone told me; it's a grub of a ladybird, this year I saw in my garden the following proces from the grow of this animal.
The second pict is made a week ago of the pupa and this morning I made the last one.
He left his coat and is ready now the eat the lice of my roses.
I forgot the most imported pict, just how new life starts, so here it is...

congratulations Dieuwertje with this birth, I hope he/she will eat many lice and when he needs more, sent him over, there are lots to eat here. The pictures are beautifully made, well done!

Very nice and happy-ended sequence, Dieuwertje. I wonder, how can a cuty like a ladybird come from such a scary thing??? (sorry, I'm not an insect fan...)

Thanks for sharing

Lovely story you told here Dieuwertje. Simple but effective idea!

This year seems to be a very good ladybird year. I see them everywhere in the garden these days. Great, as they help taking care of the aphid problem.

Dieuwertje you did a great and wondeful job. I didn't know ladybirds do it the same way as butterflys. You made excellent pictures of a beautiful wonder of nature. Thanks.
