Without spending a large amount of money how do I keep things dry on a rainy day

i use resealable bags for everything and a small canoe bag in my rucksack

I use a clear plastic bag. Tear a hole in the bottom to fit the lense and then thighten around the lense with rubber band. Works nice.

Nice ideas! Since we are here I would like to know how to take pictures of the rain. A few days ago I was on my balcony and there was a violent rain storm, my goal was to take a picture so that the rain was in focus and the beckground blurred. I didn't have much succes. How do I do this?
