It's getting a litle confusing (see also [url=http://www.woophy.com/forum/2_
832_0.html] this topic [/url] ). so it's time to write down some guide lines.
IMPORTNANT RULE: only ONE topic a day
the first who post a pic for the contest that day make a new topic with title: "TRANSPORTATION PICTURES ## APRIL 2006 " where ## is replased by the date.
title: "MONEY PICTURES ## MAY 2006 " where ## is replased by the date.
I don't want to, but i think I'll lock and delete all other topics of that day.

In my opinion you can lock and delete. The forum starts to become a mess with all these similar posts. Will it be able to combine the doubles to one topic for every day?
And by the way: why choose a title in capitals; I think that is screaming and not really needed. Can't we make the 'rule' that every topic is called 'Transportation April ##, 2006' or sth like that?

I also want to ask: think twice about the sublect of this month competition - transportation. I saw last month a lot of pictures which where far beside the subject. And I am affraid it's starting again this month. Not any picture of a car or a bike is called transportation. In my opinion the subject Transportation is about how you use a car, a bike and so on.

I think last month that was a bit of a disadvantage of the subject. But in my opinion also a picture of a bike fits well with the subject of this month. I think it is to the photographer and her/his creativity to interpret the subject...

@Roderick, Yes and No, for so long it stay with 1 or 2 post a day I'll collect the photo's and put them in one new post under the correct topic. But moving a topic start post into an other topic is not posible.
@Lcs we'll see, I have to agree with Roderick the March06 contest was a bit a wide range with wage borders.
and only a bike is also transportation...but we'll see.

this topic is already sticky (in the contest group)
in the overall forum list it won't work
making the Today topic sticky.....it''s a nice idee but i don't see any use for it, but i'll keep it in mind.

the place of your pics is good, don't worry, the topic is locked because it was the seccond of that day... but no problem. Next time please reply on the first contest topic of that day an it wil be great..

Hello ConradM ...
A few days ago, I opened a new topic called "Children Are Also People" ... for only two reasons:
1.- For my enter in this month competition ...
2.- For keep participating with Woophy's forums ...
The questions are : For the competition reason, my pictures are well ? are in? ... cause I didn't know the rules you're posted in this topic ... I'll really appreciate your answer ...

No problem....as long as the pictures are in the "2006 Photo competition 'Daily Life on Earth'" forum they will take part in the contest, even without the rigt title.
sometimes i only lock the topic, somitimes i move the pictures into that days topic. only if you day after day open several topics i maybe will delete them, so far this hasn't happened yet..

Hello Conrad, i started the 20th june topic for the contest, because i couldn't find one, according to guidline: the first who post a pic for the contest that day make a new topic with title: "TRANSPORTATION PICTURES ## APRIL 2006 " where ## is replased by the date.
And there was no 20th of june topic yet...

It is virtually impossible to figure out how to post a photo in your contests. There are no specific directions on how to do so.

You can take part by submitting your own or proposing somebody else's picture though the special contest forum

Here's the fastest way to post your photos for the contest. You first have to store the photos in your account under My Collection. Then click on each one and take note of the Woophy ID of each photo. Next, go to the forum for the monthly contest and when you click on the box that says insert image, put into the box the Woophy ID number for the photo you want to post. <G>
