I wasn't even aware that I was participating in the 'social life' contest! I was just thinking I didn't ave any images that would fit the theme. Whoever nominated the picture - thanks a lot ...

Oh, and I forgot to mention - I'm really looking forward to the HCB book. I really admire his work - he was a great street photographer. I enjoyed the overview of his work that was exhibited in Amsterdam last year.

It was me who put your picture in the competition, along with a bunch of other great pictures from my favourites section... I'm glad that it won and I wish more people would check out your lower rated pictures, because some of them are amazing!
